FC Barcelona – La Liga Arsenal boss came through academy
Joan Laporta has reportedly identified Mikel Arteta as a potential candidate to become the next head coach of Barcelona.
Laporta famously hired Pep Guardiola in 2008, much to the surprise of many due to his lack of coaching experience, and went onto become one of the most successful technicians in the club’s history.
Now, according to RAC, Laporta wants Guardiola‘s former No.2 at Manchester City to take over the helm should he become president again.
However, it is far from a foregone conclusion as the work of Ronald Koeman has been respectable, and the Dutchman could keep his job regardless of who becomes president.
